Arts Express Week (AEW)

If you aren't familiar, AEW is a tradition that dates back to the 1980's at DES. We host an artists-in-residence at school for a full week. All classes workshop with the artists and the 4th grade, specifically, does a deep dive in order to put on a performance for the school by the end of the week.

This year, we are hosting Backtrack vocals all the way from NYC. Students will learn beatboxing, vocal improv, acapella and more. I promise you'll be blown away! 

Please consider volunteering, we need many volunteers to make this tradition succeed.
